WhatsApp / MS Teams / Zoom etc. can help with communication and a PC with remote access can help with connectivity to client's environment without any major hardware or software expense.

Since LIMSync uses a PC on client's network and uses existing VPN or such remote access methods, there is no need to worry about data security & privacy. LIMSync does not install any client software or load any DB at its end. No licensing issues, no data handling issues, no complex solutions needed. Sensitive customer data, be it for US army sites (environmental testing) or patient drug information (forensics drug testing) or medical records (in hospitals), all of it is confined to client's hardware and network and LIMSync only accesses it through client's secure, encrypted VPN / remote access.

Being in a totally different timezone is in fact a blessing in disguise. LIMSync is available round the clock for emergency situations such as DB crash recovery and critical LIMS issues that make it totally inaccessible. In normal routine, clients send request during their day time and LIMSync tries to resolve it during its day time (that is day time in India, which is actually night time in USA). Thus, in most cases, by the next morning in USA, the request has been completed. Also, for database intensive testing and production issues, LIMSync can carry out the operations during night time in USA, and thus, avoid additional load on the LIMS system during normal lab working hours. Lastly, LIMSync also carries out weekly / monthly reviews, data archival, data purging, etc. during off-peak hours and helps out the client to keep the LIMS system healthy.
